Smrithi means “good memories,” and I strive to imbue my designs with the essence of my name.
My journey into design
Art has always been at the heart of my journey. As a child, I told stories through bold, vibrant oil pastels in my sketchbook. Today, with a B.S. in Cognitive Science and Human-Computer Interaction, I translate these stories into thoughtful designs that anticipate user emotions and behaviors, creating experiences that are both delightful and memorable.
My professional journey took a pivotal turn during my undergraduate studies, where a UX Design class shifted my focus from a traditional Computer Science path to the world of user experience. Previously, I taught public speaking in high school, fostering a deep love for storytelling and the power of narrative. Simultaneously, my minor in Computer Science honed my problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
These experiences—bridging artistic storytelling with technical problem-solving—define my approach to design. I am eager to explore new design opportunities and contribute to impactful projects. If you have an opportunity or simply want to discuss design, I’d love to connect. Reach me at smmanick15@gmail.com.

Behind the scenes

When I’m not crafting meaningful user experiences, you can find me curating Pinterest boards, painting landscapes, doing henna for my friends, watching a Studio Ghibli movie, or at the beach. Below are some sneak peeks into my life outside of design.
